PRINCETON PLANS PRESS© CELEBRATES 40 YEARS
OF MAKING DREAMS COME TRUE!

For forty years our mission at Princeton Plans Press
has been to create, discover, and furnish exceptional residential designs to customers like you via America's premier magazines and our Web Site. In the 1960's Princeton Plans Press evolved out of a need to satisfy readership demands for more information about houses being featured in magazines. Of particular interest were those houses being designed by independent architects and residential designers for specific geographical regions. This reader response fulfillment function of supplying high quality working drawings, and outstanding technical support for published houses, became Princeton Plans Press.

In 1979, the Princeton Plans Press Council of Residential Designers was utilized to create a continuing collection of History Influenced Houses for Country Living magazine. To date, over nine hundred houses representing architectural designers from every geographical region of the United States have graced the pages of Country Living.

A distinction of our program is that, since its inception, it has commissioned regional architects throughout the entire USA to develop designs for specific magazine audiences. We act as a catalyst, or "talent agency", for bringing a wide range of design resources to the attention of editors and publications who, in turn, introduce that design talent to their readers. This interface function brings a constant source of new and innovative residential designs.

Our growing roster of design resources has evolved into a series of house collections that make up the Princeton Plans Press Reference Library. These collections can be viewed and ordered in the Plan Books section of our web site
